Paul Marsovszky is currently working as Assistant Conductor with Ivan Fischer and the Budapest Festival Orchestra. Throughout this period he has had the chance to work closely with Sir András Schiff, Elisabeth Leonskaja, Miah Persson and others. 
He has participated in several major conducting competitions, such as the Deutscher Dirigentenpreis 2019 and the Maestro Solti Conducting competition 2017 in Budapest. For 2021 he has been selected to participate in the Donatella Flick - LSO Conducting Competition. 
Prior to his graduation in Orchestra Conducting from Franz Liszt Academy of Music Budapest, he was invited to Bernard Haitink's masterclass during the Lucerne Easter Festival 2018.
