Took his master’s degree in 2017 at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm with previous studies at the Sibelius Academy and Zurich University of the Arts. Kaapo Iljas was a semifinalist in the Donatella Flick Conducting Competition 2016. Broadmindedness and an unprejudiced attitude to other arts and all genres are at the core of Ijas’ approach.
