Was selected from 300 candidates to participate in the First Hong Kong International Conducting Competition in January 2018. As the winner of the Moscow Conducting Competition, he conducted the Moscow State Symphony Orchestra in 2017. Gurgen Petrosyan is currently conductor of the Engels Chamber Orchestra.
